We have a Justice of the Peace available Mondays to Saturdays.
No appointments required. Just drop in between 10.00am – 12noon
Every Wednesday we have a table tennis session from 9am to 11.30am in our main hall. Bats and balls are provided.
Contact us if you are interested in being involved or just drop into the hall on Wednesday morning.

Vinnies – Social Worker
Kim Sheehan is a Community Social Worker from St Vincent de Paul and will be based at the Community Centre every second Friday. Kim is happy to assist clients who need a Social Worker and will act as an advocate for clients with WINZ or other organisations. The Craft group is free and open for anyone to join. So if you are interested in learning to knit or crochet or have skills you would like to share with others or would just like to have some fun why not come along and join in. The group meet on Wednesdays from 11am to 1pm – tea and coffee is provided.
Social English for Women
This is a friendly social group where women can learn and practice their English and also find out about New Zealand customs. They meet on Thursday mornings during school terms from 9.30am to 11.30am. Cost is $2 per session.
Kids4Drama School of Performing Arts

English in the Community
Wellington High School hold English in the Community classes at the Community Centre for eight weeks during school terms. AA Defensive Driving Course

NZ Blood Service
Save a Life – Give blood. The NZ Blood Service will be at the Centre to collect blood on Thursday 26th April from 9.00am – 2.00pm. Appointments are preferred and will take priority.

Kiwi Community Assistance
This is for Kiwis working together to reduce poverty in our communities. Johnsonville Community Centre is a drop off point for donations of items such as food and clothing.

Are your kids bored with their old toys? Come and borrow ours! Get access to hundreds of toys and puzzles for 0 to 7 year olds for a small fee, annual and term memberships are available. We are open during school terms on Thursdays from 7.15pm to 8.45pm and Saturdays from 9.30am to 11.30am.

Bas van der Hoeven conducts a drama therapy program at the Community Centre for clients with brain injuries, aspergers, the intellectually disabled, bipolar, conduct disorder and other psychological conditions.
Appointments available Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm
A Travel Club has been set up in the Northern Suburbs. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm. All welcome, members free and non members $4 including tea and biscuits. Club activities include talks on travel, movie outings and casual Sunday afternoon walks.
Classes are held in the main hall every Wednesday. Intermediate/Advanced from 1pm to 2pm and beginners from 2pm to 3pm. These lessons are designed to teach “Self Defence against Falls” in your day-to-day living and are a form of Tai Chi suited to arthritis sufferers. The charge is $4.
Early Impressions Childcare Crèche
Our friendly crèche has trained teachers and high adult to child ratios on all sessions providing a warm, caring and stimulating the environment for your child. Morning tea is provided. We now provide 20 free hours for the over three age group.

Wendy has been counselling for 9 years. This is an informal meeting for community groups and businesses to network and share information about what is happening in the community. It is held at the Centre on the last Wednesday of each month from 12noon to 1pm. The first meeting for 2018 will be on Wednesday 28th February.
